Death of ERNEST BURKE

After a three year's struggle against tuberculosis, Ernest Burke died in Albuquerque,N.M., on Friday of last week. The body was brought back to Wiota, Iowa, on Monday for burial, Wiota being the old home of the Burke family.

Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Hamilton accompanied the remains back, Mrs. Hamilton being a sister of Ernest. Another sister, Mrs. Edith Farlow, also one in Montana, survive their brother. The death of this young man who fought disease so bravely is a matter of real sorrow to the many old and young friends who mourn him sincerely.

Ernest Burke Dead

Ernest Burke, who went to Albuquerque, New Mexico two years ago, ordered there by his physicians on account of tubercular trouble, died on August 12. The body was brought to Wiota, his old home town and the funeral occurred there August 16.

Progress was 29 years old. He came here with his father from Wiota and was highly esteemed by everyone who knew him. When he was taken ill Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Hamilton took him in auto to Albuquerque, hoping that the ride might do him good. He was placed in a sanitarium there. Last October Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton moved to that city in order to take care of him, and he died in their home. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton the company the body from Albuquerque to Wiota.
