Daniel Brice Funeral Tuesday

Services for Daniel P. Brice, 63, who died in a sewer-ditch cave-in Thursday, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery, southwest of Cumming.

Brice, of 935 Fourth St., had been a construction worker for Stoh Plumbing and Electric Co., 617 E. Grand Ave., for the past 10 years.

Surviving are his wife, Grace, of Los Angeles, Cal.; three daughters, Mrs. Dale Danks of 3804 Dean Ave., Des Moines, Mrs. George Lovejoy of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Willard Jones, Vancouver, Wash.; seven sons, Daniel F. of Vancouver, John, Michael, James, Patrick, Gerald, and Richard, all of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Dominic Damiani, 2124 E. Walnut St.; and two brothers, Cornelius of Des Moines and James of Boone, Ia.

The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
