Under sad conditions, came the death of Mrs. Beulah White Bush, who died May 7, following an operation. Mrs. Bush leaves four children, the youngest but eight months old. Mr. Bush having died in February of flu pneumonia. Since that time, when the entire household was seriously ill with influenza, Mrs. Bush never regained her strength.
Mrs. Bush, just past 29 years of age, was married to James L. Bush ten years ago, and spent practically all of her life in Madison county. The orphaned children have the sympathy of the community in the loss of both parents. Mrs. Bush was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis White.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in Worthington church, conducted by Rev. Hignett.

Beulah White Bush was born in Madison county, Jan. 14, 1891 and departed this life at the Congregational hospital, Des Moines, following an operation May 7, 1920, aged 29 years, 3 months and 23 days.
She was united in marriage to James L. Bush, June 5, 1910. To this union were born five children, Opal May, who died in infancy; Velma Irene, Robert Orval, Vada Loraine and James Lloyd, eight months old. The husband and father departed this life Feb. 12, 1920.
Mrs. Bush has been a resident of Madison county all her life, except four years spent on a farm near Holloway, Minn.
Besides the four children, she leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis White, one sister, Mrs. Roy Cox of Winter set and two brothers, Orval and Vernon, both at home, and a number of relatives and a host of friends.
