Harris W. Kenworthy, 76, of South Des Moines Care Center, 5608 S.W. Ninth St., died Monday at home of complications following a stroke. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Earlham Cemetery.

Mr. Kenworthy was born in Earlham and had lived in Des Moines since 1941, retiring as parts manager for Elliott Flying Service. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Dee Holland, and three sons, Jerry, Keith and Tom, all of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
