Abbie L. Anderson, 98, of Scottish Rite Park, 2909 Woodland Ave., died of complications of a stroke there Friday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dunn’s Funeral Home, with private burial at Earlham Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Earlham and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Chapter Q of P.E.O.

Survivors include a son, William of Des Moines; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the Good Samaritan Brotherhood Fund.
