RAY DEAN STROEBER

Born on May 9, 1944 in Winterset, Iowa, Ray was a resident of Topanga, Ca for 35 years, he was a talented designer/builder of many houses in the Topanga area. Ray was also the writer/producer of “The Rose Technique” (2002), a black comedy about pop psychology and the media. Ray died at home on June 30, 2011, at the age of 67.

Ray was our beloved husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lafferty, his son, Wesley, his mother, Elva, his sister, Janet Coleman, his brother, Ed, and his sister in law, Linda Lafferty. Ray was “our North, our South, our East, our West.” He will be deeply missed.

Memorial service at the Lake Shrine Temple in Pacific Palisades, CA at 11 am on July 23, 2011.
