Services for Edith Ann Jacobs, 68, who passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at home, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the New Virginia Cemetery.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Wiedman; daughter Sharon Jacobs; sisters, Rose Rinkert and Dorothy Bear. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Phillip Jacobs; son, Dennis Jacobs of Republic, MO; daughter, Phyllis (Jeff) McLain of St Marys; grandson, Eric (Jessica) McLain; great-grandchildren, Allison Thomas and Nathan McLain; siblings, Glen (Shirley) Wiedman, Helen Wiedman, Johnny (Nancy) Wiedman, Judy (Charles) Van Horn, Joann (Dick) Barker, Bev Maxwell and Kathy (Randy) Jones.
Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 5 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Memorials may be given to the family in her name for a use to be decided at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com.
