IVA EVANS BURNETT

Iva Burnett (nee Evans) was born in Filmore county, Nebraska, April 23, 1890 and departed this life at her home five miles south of Macksburg, August 5, 1919. She was united in marriage to W. E. Burnett, May 10, 1913. To this union was born three children, one dying in infancy, besides her husband, two children, she leaves father, one sister and five brothers with a host of friends to mourn her loss.

She was a member of the United Brethern church at Geneva, Nebraska. She had been a patient sufferer for some time but medical assistance was not sufficient to conquer the disease.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the home on West Branch. Rev. G. T. Andrews officiating. The bereaved husband left Sunday evening with the remains for Geneva, Nebraska where interment will be made at Geneva cemetery near the deceased childhood home.
