Services for Frederick Alexander, 78, of 517 Gem St., who died Friday at Des Moines General Hospital where he was a patient, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Earlham Cemetery in Earlham.

Mr. Alexander was a native of Winterset and lived in Des Moines 70 years. He was a retired maintenance employee of The Register and Tribune.

Surviving are his wife, Irene, and a stepson, Charles E. Prather of Kansas City, Mo.
