Doris, 90, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Iowa Methodist in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, February 25 at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset. A visitation will be held 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday afternoon, prior to services. Burial will be in the Peru Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Winterset Senior Center. On-line condolences may be made to the family at ochiltree.com.
Doris was born April 18, 1921 in Peru, Iowa, the daughter of Lisle and Cora (Benson) Travis. She married Oliver Wallace McKeever in June 1937. She later married Frank Davis and following his death, she married Dale Young.
Doris is survived by her four sons, Monty McKeever (Betty) of Winterset, Jerry McKeever (June Myers) of Winterset, Larry McKeever (Sue) of Des Moines, and Robert McKeever (Deborah) of Winterset; a brother, Clark Travis (Marilyn) of Davenport; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
