News of Interest from St. Charles

MRS. N. J. WOODS DIED IN HOSPITAL SATURDAY MORNING

Mrs. N. J. Woods passed away Saturday morning at the hospital in Clarinda where she had been for intestinal treatment for a number of weeks. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in St. Charles Monday afternoon with burial in the St. Charles cemetery. Mrs. Woods is survived by three sons, Mack and Marion of Regina, Mrs. Beulah Durham and a sister, Mrs. Frank Jones of St. Charles. Her husband, N. J. Woods preceded her in death last July.

Peru Happenings

Mrs. N. J. Wood who has been seriously ill at the state hospital in Clarinda for several weeks, passed away Saturday morning. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the M. E. church in St. Charles and burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery beside her husband who passed away last July.

County Briefs - St. Charles

Mrs. Vianna Wood died at Clarinda last Saturday morning at the age of 75 years. Her husband, Noah James Wood, died last July 9.

She is survived by three sons, Marion and Mack of Regina, Canada, and Hallie R. of St. Charles. and one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Durham of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church in St. Charles and burial in the St. Charles cemetery.
