The remains of Mrs. Minerva Todd were brought to Winterset for burial on Monday morning. Services were held at the cemetery, conducted by Dr. Campbell, president of Simpson college; the funeral party including Mrs. Todd's daughters, Mrs. Trimble of Indianola, Miss Todd of North Tonawanda and Mr. Watson of Indianola.
Mrs. Todd's death at the age of 80 years, occurred July 12th, in North Tonawanda, N.Y. From valvular heart disease. She was the widow of Rev. J. W. Todd, pastor of the Methodist church here from September 1878, until his death in May, 1879. Mrs. Todd will be remembered by older residents of Winterset who learned to know their worth during their brief residence here.
