Eunice Sevilla, daughter of Frank W. and Mabel F. Comp, was born at Comp's Corners, Winterset, Iowa, on Dec. 21, 1916. She died March 3, 1918, aged 1 year, 2 months and 12 days, after a short illness of bronchial pneumonia.
Almost a year ago her life was despaired of, but by the untiring efforts of kind and loving hands she was nursed back to health and was permitted to brighten the home and hearts of those who loved her so much, for almost another year. Last Sabbath morning as the beautiful golden sunshine filled the hearts and homes of all, little Eunice left us, and even o'er the little white face, a smile still lingered to tell us that she had answered the Master's call when he said “Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid then not, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.”
