January 1919Obituary
The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Thompson on Dec. 26th at 2:45 a.m. and took away from them their darling baby Ruby.
These parents had been blessed with this baby girl for ten months and 26 days. No one can count the blessings of the children and how much they do mean to their parents until they are gone.
We will miss our baby, but we know where she is when Jesus said “such is the Kingdom of Heaven” and we are satisfied. She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, grandparents and many relatives.
Thy days my darling one were few,
An angel’s morning visit,
That came and vanished with the dew
‘Twas here – ‘tis gone – where is it?
I cannot tell t what sweet dell
The angels may have borne thee;
But this I know, thou canst no go
Where my heart will fail to find thee
