Gale E. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Brown of Patterson passed away Friday, September 27 at the Winterset hospital. He had been in poor health for some time. He was thirty-five years of age.
Mr. Brown was married in 1927 to Florence Bloomquist of Earlham and to this union three sons were born.
Other surviving relatives include four sisters and five brothers. They are Mrs. Monroe Roseman of Waterloo, Mrs. H. Bertholf, Mrs. A. Drake, Mrs. Verne Fairholm, George, John, Ernest, Eugene and Arthur. Funeral services were held at Union Chapel church, Sunday and burial was made in the cemetery there.

Gail E. Brown, who formerly operated the Murphy Garage in Earlham, died September 27 at the Winterset hospital. He leaves his wife, Florence Blomquist Brown and three sons, Robert 7, Donald 5 and Gail 11 months. Burial was made in Union Chapel cemetery.
