The out of town relatives who were here Sunday to attend the funeral of Mary Frances Hogg were as follows: Wessie E. Hogg of Gentry, Arkansas, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur E. Hogg of Blunt, South Dakota, Clyde Hogg and Mrs. Anna Gilliam of Des Moines.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Hogue who died Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Delong, were held at the Delong borne Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Keast of Winterset. Burial was in the Hartman cemetery near Truro.

Her surviving children are Mrs. Anna Gillam and Clyde Hogue of Des Moines, Wilbur of South Dakota, Wes of Kansas, and Grover and Mrs. Verda Delong of Peru. There are several grandchildren and great grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers and many friends.

MARY FRANCES HOGG DIES

Mrs. Mary Frances Hogg who had been ill the past five weeks, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Delong, near Peru, Friday night, September 1st, at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Hogg was the daughter of Samuel and Nancy Garst and was born February 10, 1858 in Ohio township. She was the second of nine children.

Her marriage to George Wesley Hogg took place on April 5th, 1876, and they were the parents of ten children. Evelina, George, William, and Rose, with her husband preceded her in death.

She leaves her children Wesley of Gentry, Arkansas; Wilbur of Blunt, South Dakota; Anna of Des Moines; Grover of Peru; Clyde of Des Moines; and Mrs. Verda Delong of Peru. Her children were all with her at her death. She also leaves ten grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 3rd, at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Verda Delong of Peru, and were conducted by Rev. A. P. Keast of Winterset. Burial was at the Truro cemetery.
