JODY BREEDING, Winterset

Jody Breeding, 51, of Winterset, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, from complications of Huntington’s Disease.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday (9:30 to 10:30 a.m.). Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Winterset Cemetery, Winterset. Memorials in Jody’s name may be directed to the University of Iowa Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence (200 Hawkins Dr., Iowa City, IA 52243).

Jody was born Aug. 9, 1960, in Oakland, Calif., the daughter of Donald and Jeannie (Edwards) Strong. She was a 1978 graduate of Winterset High School and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James “Jimmy Guy” Strong.

Jody is survived by her sons, Michael Dullard of Van Meter; Nicholas Breeding of Winterset; Chance Dullard of Winterset; her companion and friend, Joe Dullard of Winterset; two grandchildren; a brother, Jeff Strong of Winterset and a sister, Jami Saveraid of Winterset.
