Services for Mrs. Grimes

Florence Lillian Grimes, 81, a resident of St. Charles born in Clarke County, Iowa, died Thursday, August 21, 1975 at her home in St. Charles.

The daughter of Marion and Sarah Henthorn, Mrs. Grimes was born October 31, 1893. She was married March 9, 1916 to Charles V. Grimes in Winterset.

Surviving Mrs. Grimes is a sister-in-law, Vanetta Grimes of St. Charles. Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her husband in 1974 and her parents.

Funeral services for Florence Grimes were conducted Monday, August 25, 1975 at 1:30 p.m. from Kale Funeral Home in Truro, Iowa, the Rev. Richard Hempenius officiating.

Burial was made at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Truro.
