Pg 4WILLIAM H. GIBBONS DIED SATURDAY
William H. Gibbons died last Saturday, July 10, at the Madison Manor Nursing Home in Winterset. He was 79 years of age.
Mr. Gibbons was born on August 4, 1891. He had lived in Madison County since September of 1968.
He is survived by three sons, Jim and Raymond of Oregon, and Harter, of Virginia, and one daughter, Mrs. Marian H----- of Sargeant, Nebraska. Thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister and by his parents.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 13 at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
