Services for Emmett J. Hobbs, 82, of Commonwealth Care Center, 5608 S.W. Ninth St., who died of a heart ailment Wednesday at the center, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Friends Church in Earlham. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.

Born in Colorado, Mr. Hobbs was a retired Rock Island Lines maintenance employee.

Survivors include his sister, Margaret Young of Redondo Beach, Calif.

McKee Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
