Lake Ponderosa, IA.---Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma for Harrison “Tiny” Strable, 59, of Lake Ponderosa, who died of a heart attack Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Blair Chapel Cemetery near St. Charles.

Mr. Strable was born in Madison County and lived in Des Moines most of his life before moving to the Montezuma area eight years ago. He had been a car salesman in Des Moines and at the time of his death owned Tiny’s Wagon Wheel Lounge in New Sharon.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Janice Campbell of Des Moines; five sons, Jerry of Oklahoma City, Harrison Jr., of Ogden, Jim of Montezuma, and John and Jack, both of Des Moines; a sister, Garnetta Boughton of Booneville; a brother, George of Lake Ponderosa; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, where family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
