Brendon C. Mease, the son of Martin Mease was born on May 3, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a life-long resident of Newton.

Brendon enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and doing anything outdoors. He was a loving dad, son, brother and grandson.

Brendon died on May 19, 2006 at Rock Creek Lake in rural Kellogg, Iowa. He was 31. Brendon was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Edith Mease.

Those left to honor Brendon’s memory are his son, Dylan, of Newton; father and step-mother, Martin “Marty” and Laura Mease of Kansas City; his brother, Lewis “Lew” Mease of Woodward; and paternal grandfather, Ival Mease of Kansas City.

Services were held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006.

Note: Burial was made in the Ebenezer cemetery.
