BERNIECE “BEA” KAY GRACEY,
LAKE STEVENS, WASHINGTON

Berniece "Bea" Kay Gracey’s life was cut short by a tragic highway accident on Aug. 20, 2011. She was born on April 16, 1950.

After operating her own daycare business for several years in Norwalk and raising her family, Bea moved to Washington state to follow her dream of one day living on a sailboat. Bea cherished the life she had with Scott Farnsworth and was blessed with three children, sons, Cory and Shawn, and daughter, Megan; daughter-in-law, Jen; son-in-law, Paul; and five grandchildren, Hunter, Lindy, Halle, Kaila and Esme. She is also survived by five brothers: Jack, Larry, Claude, Art and Ed Daniels, and two sisters: Julie and Joyce Daniels.

She loved boating, camping, crabbing, gardening, painting and working with stained glass. Bea was a devoted mother, grandmother, life-partner, friend, sister, aunt, and so much more. Her joyful, giving spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of her Life service was held in Snohomish, Wash., on Aug. 24 at the First Presbyterian Church. To honor Bea’s wishes, a potluck to further celebrate her life, will be given today (Wednesday, Aug. 31), 2:30 at The Lodge at Lake Aquabi State Park in Indianola, a place she held dear to her heart. Please join the family to share memories and love.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a child development agency of your choice.
