Larson - Oka Stiffler-Larson was born at Winterset, Iowa January 17, 1870, and died in Salem, Oregon, January 2, 1932.

She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, four daughters and one son.

Sister Larson accepted the message at the age of 16 in Winterset, Iowa.

She rests in the hands of the Life-giver.

MRS. OKA LARSON DIES IN OREGON

The death of Mrs. Oka Stiffler Larson of Salem, Oregon, is announced by the Capital Journal of Salem. Mrs. Larson was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Stiffler who lived years ago on their fruit farm just northeast of the city limits. The Stiffler family moved to Salem years ago and all are dead except Roy and Loren, brothers of Mrs. Larson. The Capital Journal says:

“Mrs. George Larson, a resident of Salem for the past twenty-nine years and a prominent worker in the Seventh Day Adventist church, died at a local hospital Saturday, January 2, after a brief illness. She came to Salem from Winterset, Iowa, where she was born sixty-two years ago.

In addition to her widower she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Chester F. Way of Dallas, Mrs. George Bruce of Walla Walla, Washington, and Mrs. L. C. Kelly of West Salem; one son Virgil of Salem; two brothers, Roy Stiffler of California, and Loren Stiffler of Salem, and by eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, January 5, at two o’clock from the Clough-Barrick chapel with Elder Schleman of the Adventist church officitating. Interment will be in the Cityview cemetery”.
