Services for Leola “Ole” Howard, 88, who died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 6 at the St. Charles Parish in St. Charles with burial following in the St. Charles Cemetery. 

Ole was the laundry supervisor at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center for several years. She was known for her peanut butter cinnamon rolls and enjoyed reading. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Howard, three sons, parents, sister and brother. Survivors include her daughter, Terry Howard of Des Moines; daughter-in-law, Nancy Howard of St. Charles; grandchildren, Brenda (Marty) Johnson, Jeff Howard, Derek (Content) Howard , Lynette (Dennis) Keyes, Brandon (Belinda) Howard, Stacy (Rob) Cloe, Sean (Janine) Howard, Chad (Belinda) Howard; and great-grandchildren, Amber, Chelsea, Bailey Sue, and Draye Johnson, Jana, Jace and Jack Howard, Jacob and Matthew Keyes, Carter, Seth and Jamie Cloe, Andrew Morris, Mia and McKenzy Howard. 

Visitation will be held 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 5 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be given to HCI Care Services of Knoxville. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com .
