OBITUARY

Venilia May Hart was born in Ohio, May 29, 1845. Married to David Wilson in Winterset, Iowa. Later came to Kansas and was married to A. Vance at Havensville, Kansas, February 5, 1894. Died at Havensville November 17, 1909. Mrs. Vance leaves a husband, one son and four sisters and two grandchildren.

She had been in poor health for some time in her far away home in Oregon, but realizing what it would mean to her husband, to whom she has been a true helpmate, to be left along among strangers, she heroically bore her sufferings until she reached the home land. And then surrounded by kindred and friends she quietly passed away. After the funeral services conducted at the Christian church of which she was a member, she was given her heart's request and laid to rest in the same cemetery as her parents to await the second coming of her Master.
