Mary Kay Bittinger, 88, of Indianola died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Society of Indianola.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday May 28, at Light House Community Church in Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shorty Bittinger; six brothers and four sisters.
Mary is survived by her children, Kay Huffman of Indianola, Jerry Bittinger of Alta Monte Springs, Fla., Sue VanVleet of Carlisle, Don Bittinger of Des Moines; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Goodwin of Lubbock, Texas, and Pearle Rurtlage of Clinton.
