Lester O. Dice, 73, of Zephyrhills died Thursday at home. A native of Winterset, Iowa, he moved to this area 21 years ago from Gaines, Mich.

He was the former owner and operator of Dice's Ice Cream Store in Zephyrhills and an excavating company. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association in Zephyrhills and Protestant.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; a son, Gordon of Swartz Creek, Mich.; two daughters, Beverly Hooker of Owosso, Mich., and Janet Giem of Hemlock, Mich.; a stepson, Brian Perry of Johnson City, N.Y.; a brother, Chester of Montrose, Mich.; two sisters, Alice Young of Warsaw, Ind., and Patsy Keyes of Oakley, Mich.; and five grandchildren.

Lester Dice, 73, of Zephyrhills, died Thursday (Jan. 19, 1995) at home. Born in Winterset, Iowa, he came here 21 years ago from Gaines, Mich., and was retired owner/operator for Dice's Ice Cream, Zephyrhills.

He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a member of the Wesley Chapel Church of the Nazarene, and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

Survivors include his wife, Marion; a son, Gordon, Swartz Creek, Mich.; a stepson, Brian Perry, Johnson City, N.Y.; two daughters, Beverly Hooker, Owosso, Mich., and Janet Giem, Hemlock, Mich.; a brother, Chester, Montrose, Mich.; two sisters, Alice Young, Warsaw, Ind., and Patsy Keyes, Oakley, Mich.; five grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
