Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 16, 1994, in Mt. Scott Funeral Home with private interment in Willamette National Cemetery.

Mrs. Niemi died of congestive heart failure Aug. 12. She was 78.

She was born Nov. 3, 1915, in Douglas, Iowa, and was raised in Winterset, Iowa. In 1937, she married Vern Lemon, who died in 1960. She married Elmer Niemi in 1962; he died in 1989.

Survivors include her son, Vernell L. Lemon of Portland; sister, Mabel Westphall of Des Moines, Iowa; brothers, Ralph Addy of Boise and Dale Addy of Winterset; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Remembrances: Favorite charity.
