Mrs. George Frederick died Saturday August 17 at a Des Moines hospital. She was 65 years of age.
Mrs. Frederick was the former Irene C. Craven, daughter of Frank and Emma Conway Craven. She was born in Madison County September 4, 1902 and spent her life in this community.
She was married to George B. Frederick on December 19, 1925. He survives her.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winterset.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two brothers, Frank Craven of Winterset and Paul Craven of Newton, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Jones of Keani, Alaska.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Wilson Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Everett E. Burham, pastor of the First United Methodist church of Winterset.
Burial was made in the Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.
