Tuesday, November 26, 1991, page B4Charles Clifton Nelson, 73, Orrick in Ray County, formerly of Kansas City, died Nov. 24, 1991, at the home.
He was born in Truro, Iowa, and lived in St. Joseph and Kansas City before moving to Orrick in 1960.
Mr. Nelson was a carpenter and stonemason for 40 years, retiring in 1980.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Nelson, Orrick, Charles Nelson, Kidder, Mo., Rusty Nelson, Rayville in Ray County, and Darrell Nelson, Richmond; three daughters, Anna M. Gray, Richmond, Dianna Cone, Excelsior Springs, and Hellen Harris, Rayville; four sisters, Marie Denton, Esther Henderson, May Hill and June Law of Des Moines, Iowa; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Prichard Chapel, Excelsior Springs; burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel.
