After a long illness, the death of Mrs. Harriet Worley, at the age of 63 years, occurred Tuesday night, Apr. 3rd, at her home on West Green street. Mrs. Worley was a native of Iowa, born in Marion county. She came from Audubon county here in 1892, her marriage to F. W. Worley take place in Marion county. His death occurred in 1914. Four children survive their mother: Mrs. George Breeding, Mrs. A. N. Sankey, W. R. and Roy Worley, all of this vicinity.

Harriet Isabel Newman as born in Marion county, Iowa, Nov. 13, 1853 and died at her home in Winterset, April 3, 1917, aged 63 years, 4 months and 20 days. She was the second child in a family of eleven children, seven of whom with an aged mother survive her.
On Feb. 23, 1873 she was united in marriage to Fleming W. Worley, whose death occurred Aug. 20, 1914. Seven children were born to this union, three dying in infancy. Those left to mourn their mother's death are: Mrs. Nora Breeding, Wesley R., Mrs. Myrtle Sankey, and Roy W., all residing near Winterset.
Her early married life was spent in Mahaska county. In the spring of 1892 they moved from Audubon county to Madison county, living on a farm southeast of Winterset until six years ago, when they moved to Winterset. About 18 years ago she was converted and united with the Methodist church.
The funeral services were held at her late home Friday at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. M. M. Cable, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Winterset.
