Death of MISS SARAH E .FIFE

Miss Sadie Fife, who was so badly burned a couple of weeks ago by upsetting a bottle of coal oil on a hot stove, died from the effects of the burns in a Des Moines hospital on Feb. 19th.

The funeral services were held at St. Charles Thursday, in the Methodist church, of which she was a member. Miss Fife was well known here, having been employed as a seamstress in different dressmaking establishments.

The remains of Miss Sadie Fife were brought here from Des Moines on last Thursday, and the funeral services were held in the M. E. Church, conducted by Revs. Orcutt and Williams.

It will be rembered that Miss Fife was badly burned about two weeks ago by upsetting a bottle of coal oil on a hot stove. She was taken to the hospital, but was sp badly burned that she never recovered. She passed away last Tuesday morning, aged 60 years, 10 months and 7 days. She leaves five sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss.
