Sarah Totten, who has been ailing for several weeks, died at her home here, Nov. 22d, aged 69 years, two months and 11 days. She joined the Christian church when about 18 years of age.
Short services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. Baker of the Christian church, Wednesday afternoon and the body, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Pointer and Mrs. Carter, was taken to Percy, in Marion county, for burial.
She leaves four sisters and one brother. Two sisters, Mrs. Polly Carter of Pleasantville and Mrs. Emma Pointer, of near here, were with her during her illness.
