MRS. REUBEN J. FOSTER

Mrs. Reuben. J. Foster, an old and respected resident of Ohio township, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peree Black, last Tuesday, aged 86 years. About a week prior to her death, she had a stroke of paralysis, from which she never recovered. Mrs. Foster had been in failing health for some time.

Funeral services were held last Thursday, conducted by Rev. S. W. Lee of Wick. Interment was made in the Young cemetery.

R. J. Foster and wife and J. J. Young, and wife were the only couples left who located in Ohio township in the fifties. Mr. and Mrs. Foster in 1854 and Mr. and Mrs. Young in 1859.

Austin Reed received word from St. Charles Saturday that his aunt, Mrs. Reuben Foster, of that place had suffered a second shock of paralysis and was in critical condition owing to her age. She has since died and was buried Thursday. She lived to be 87 years old.
