Death of MRS. CLAUDE BAKER

Mrs. Flossie Owen Baker of Ness City, Kansas, died in Baldwin City, Kansas on July 31st at the age of 36 years, cancer of the stomach, causing her death.

She was married in 1907 to Claude Baker, son of Mrs. John Gray, and lived in Scott township until five years ago, when they moved to Kansas. Mrs. Baker leaves two children and her husband. The burial services were held at Union Chapel on August 3rd at 10:30 am. Rev. Williams conducting.

Mrs. Claude Baker

The funeral of Mrs. Claude Baker of Ness City, Kansas, was held at the Union Chapel church Thursday morning at 10:30. The services were conducted by Rev. Williams of St. Charles and interment made at Union Chapel cemetery.

Mrs. Baker was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Queen.

The remains were accompanied by two sisters, Misses Cordie Queen of Baldwin, Kansas, Myrtle Queen of Ness City, Kansas and one brother, Wallace Queen of Ness City, Kansas.
