Alex F. Mitchell, an old resident of this place, died at the hospital at Clarinda the first of last week and the funeral was held at the Christian church on last Thursday, conducted by Rev. Koser. Interment was made in the Worthing cemetery by the side of his wife, who died about nine years ago.
He leaves to mourn his loss, two sons, R. P. Mitchell and family and Jesse Mitchell and family of Des Moines.
