Death of MRS. ADDIE TIDRICK WHITE

J. E. Tidrick received a telegram on Monday, notifying him of the death, presumably on Sunday, of his sister, Mrs. Oliver White of Portland, Ore. The message stated that the funeral services would occur on Tuesday, May 9th. Mr. Tidrick was not aware that his sister was ill, but on Monday friends here received a letter from Mrs. W. H. Downs, also of Portland, telling that Mrs. White was quite ill with erysipelas, hence the conclusion that her death must have resulted from that disease.

Mrs. White was the third of ten children born to Dr. L. M. and Mrs. Martha Tidrick, old time residents of Winterset. She spent her youth here, marrying O. M. White in December 1891. They lived in Dubuque, Omaha, and finally moved to Portland. Mrs. White visited here three years ago, at the time of her mother's final illness and death.

Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Grace Geiger and four brothers: Hoyt, Charles, Lee and Joseph E., the two latter residing here. Mrs. White, during her life here was prominent in social and club affairs. Her death will be a matter of regret to her friends here.
