MARY JANE McLARNAND

Mary Jane Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Robinson was born September 4, 1833, departed this life October 16, 1915, age 82 years, 1 month and 2 days. She was born near Montreal, Canada where she spent her early life. She was married to Hugh McLarnand November 3, 1854 in Montreal, Canada, moving soon afterward to Fondulac county, Wis., in 1864 moved to Blue Earth county, Minn., in 1876 moved to Madison County, Iowa, where she has since resided.

Mrs. McLarnand was the mother of seven children, three sons and four daughters. The husband and one daughter have preceded her to the better world.

The surviving children are Joseph E. of near Macksburg, Albert W. of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. H. W. Griffin of Hydro, Okla., Mrs. H. W. Jenkins of Ellsworth, Minn., Mrs. W. L. Rhoads and J. F. both of near Macksburg

The departed united with the Methodist church in early life and lived a faithful christian life. She leaves to mourn her loss, six children, a number of grandchildren, besides many old friends and neighbors. The funeral services were conducted from the Fellowship church. Rev. Roy W. Spooner of Lorimor officiating and interment was in the Fellowship cemetery.
