GEORGE THRAILKILL

Died, George Thrailkill, last Monday morning at four o'clock, after a few hours of sickness. He with his father attended the State Fair at Des Moines the latter part of last week. He returned home Sunday noon and felt as well as usual. Later he became ill and by four o'clock, they sent for the physician, but he grew worse until at four a.m. Monday, his spirit took its flight to God who gave it.

He was 16 years old and would have been a sophomore in the academy this fall. He will be missed by his family and schoolmates very much as the days and weeks come and go.

Interment was made at Dexter Wednesday. The doctor gave ptomaine poisoning as the cause of death
