Mrs. C. O. Horton, who has been sick for some time, died at her home in Des Moines last Tuesday evening. Her remains were brought back here last Wednesday and funeral services were held in the M. E. church last Thursday, and her remains were laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery, west of town. Just three weeks, to the day that Mr. Horton lost his father, he was called upon to say goodbye to his wife. Mrs. Horton will be remembered as Miss Nellie Bean.
