Betty "BJ" Ewoldt, 82, passed away December 3, 2010.
Born in Jefferson City, MO, her family moved to Winterset, IA where she grew up.
She was a bartender in Des Moines for many, years, retiring from the Urban Den.
BJ was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Minnie Rankin, and her sister, Wilma Banks.
She is survived by husband, Jack; son, John; daughters: Joan and Jane (Paul) Fulton; sisters: Joyce (Fred) Owens and Peggy (Dave) Dunlap; and the light of her life, grandson, J.P. Fulton.
Her wish was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held in spring, her favorite season.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
