Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon. Shirley, 81, the daughter of John Lee and Sabra Elizabeth (Miller) Sutton, was born March 2, 1929 at Winterset, Iowa. She died in Leon on Wednesday, November 24, 2010.

Shirley graduated from East High School in Des Moines in 1948. Survivors include her three daughters, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
