Henry K. Weaver was born in Pennsylvania September 26, 1837, died at home near Patterson, March 14, 1914, aged 77 years, 5 months and 18 days.
He came to Iowa in the spring of 1851 and ten years later was married to Mary Ann Pursinger, who died in 1876. Nine children were born from this marriage, eight of whom are living.
He was again married in 1892 to Mrs. Florence Hamilton and from this marriage three children survive.

Henry Kensinger Weaver was born in Pennsylvania, east of the Allegheny mountains September 26, 1837, and died at his home in Patterson, Iowa, march 14, 1915, aged 78 years.
He came to Iowa in the spring of 1851 and located near Patterson and has made his home in that vicinity since that time.
He was married to Mary Ann Pursinger in 1861, who died September 11, 1876. To this union nine children were born, Rodey Jane, Henrietta, Joe Henry, Sophia Ellen, Cora Elnora, Jessie Melvina, Minnie Francis, John William and one daughter died in infancy.
Mary Ann Weaver died September 11, 1876. He was married again to Mrs. Florence Madora Hamilton May 4, 1892. To this union were born three children.
Mr. Weaver was one of our old and respected citizens and in his death Madison county losses one more of her pioneers settlers.
The funeral occurred from the M. E. church at Patterson Tuesday, March 16, conducted by Rev. Warren, and interment was made in the McGinnis cemetery.
