MYRTLE R. McNELEY

Myrtle R. Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Wright, was born in Madison county, Iowa, Jan. 29, 1883, and died Feb 15, 1915, age 32 years and 16 days. On Dec. 20, 1899, she was united in marriage to Roy McNeley. Five children were born to this union, two dying in infancy.

During her last illness when visited by Rev. Follansbee, she gave her heart to God and was often in prayer and the favorite song she sang was “Lord, I am Coming Home.” Thinking she would soon be well, she talked of the time she would unite with the church and enjoy its fellowship. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, two sons, a daughter, a father and mother, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis, Wednesday, Feb. 17. Interment in the Primitive Baptist cemetery north of the city.
