Helen Grace Love, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Love, was born in Patterson, April 13, 1910 and passed away Jan. 7, 1924 at the Iowa Lutheran hospital, Des Moines, at the age of 13 years, 9 months and 14 days. She leaves to mourn her homegoing, her father and mother, five brothers and two sisters: Frazier of California, John, Robert, Philip and Murray Wayne; her twin sister, Alice, and Mary, who are all at home and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her home was in Patterson until last September, when the family moved to Des Moines. She was a member of the Patterson M. E. church and an active member of the Willing Workers Sunday school class. Helen will always be remembered by her sweet disposition and kind acts. During her last illness of blood poisoning and pneumonia, she fought the two dreaded diseases with patience and her thoughts were for her loved ones until the last.

Short services were held Thursday at 10 o’clock in Des Moines and 1 o’clock, funeral services were held at the M. E. church in Patterson, conducted by Rev. W. M. Scheuerman. Interment in the cemetery north of Patterson.
