Edward Junior, son of Harry and Helen Henkle, was born in Guthrie county, Iowa, March 3d, 1924 and departed this life at the home of his parents in Guthrie county, March 8, 1925, age 1 year and 5 days. He was a sweet child which God loaned to us for awhile and while others require years to live their life full, he lived his life full in a few short months. He was overtaken by flu, February 13, which later developed into pneumonia, all that loving hands could do was done, but to no avail and his spirit answered the heavenly fathers call and took its place in paradise to be forever with Jesus.

A short prayer service was held at the home Monday, March 9th at one o’clock after which the body was brought to Worthington M. E. church where funeral services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. M. Hulbert and burial in the family lot in the Worthington cemetery.
