Services for Verle B. Cook, 95, Earlham, who died Nov. 22, at the home of her daughters in Des Moines, were held on Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Friends Church at Earlham with the Rev. Eldon Cole officiating. Burial was at the Bear Creek Cemetery.

Born July 22, 1894 in Albany, Ore., she was the daughter of William and Anna Barnett.

She was the youngest of six children and lived with her uncle in Marion, Ore., after the death of her parents. She lived most of her life in Earlham.

In 1918, she was married to Bernard Cook of Earlham and was a member of the Earlham Friends Church.

Survivors include a son, William Robert of Chicago, Ill.; daughters, Carlene and Doris of Des Moines; and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Cook of Wilmette, Ill.
