Services for Art Miller, 65, Springfield, Mo., who died December 10 of lung cancer, were held in Springfield on December 12. Burial was in Springfield.

Mr. Miller was born on June 4, 1924 in Madison County, the son of Earl and Annie Brown Miller. He grew up in the Earlham community and graduated from Earlham High School in 1941.

After completing his schooling, he went to Denver, Colo., where he worked for several years in the insurance business. Later, he became a chef and worked at various resort areas in the West and Midwest.

He is survived by one brother, Jack of Johnston, Iowa and a sister, Mabel Koboldt of Earlham. Mabel Koboldt and Kenneth Koboldt drove to Springfield to attend services and burial on December 12. They were met by Marjorie Koboldt of Tyler, Texas, and several relatives from Georgia, Lincoln, Neb., and Buffalo, Mo.
