The body of Wesley Simmons brother of Josh and Ora Simmons, was brought here from the hospital in Ft. Scott, Kansas, where he died June 26th. Funeral services were held here in the M.E. church conducted by Rev. Brewer and the body laid to rest in the Ebeneezer cemetery. His brothers, Edwin and Edwon, came with the corpse, this making two such sad trips to Iowa since March 17th, when they came to bury their father, Al Simmons.
